Episode 21: Magical Happenings in Beacon Hill

In a saturated market it’s often difficult for musicians to make their schtick stand out, but stand out is exactly what Seattle’s Witch Bottle do. It helps when your music features the exotic blend of accordion and musical saw, your stage set up involves elaborate costumes and makeup, dark cowboys and spooky sounds to tickle your soul, all of which, coming from less genuine musicians could become a little hard to bear, but not from these guys it flows like wine at a great party.

I loved interviewing Witch Bottle, these guys genuinely seem to like each others’ company, from giggling when the whistling kettle joins in the jam session to snuggling up to answer my seemingly endless interview questions with  good grace. Bree’s house, where the filming took place, is a treasure trove of exciting trinkets where cats strut idly by and the band settle in to make some magical noise. A great place to visit. Enjoy!
